Bioma is a project to threedeemodel the metaverse. Based on the idea of a biome: 'a large naturally occurring community occupying a major habitat', we offer a design experience that revolves around the performativity of the body, virtual materiality, and how these two interact.

The idea behind this build is that it can be placed anywhere in Decentraland and it will reflect its changing surroundings and public. The market can be both a meeting space and a music venue. Apparently, there is no produce, neither merchandise being offered… what is that you see then? Look again. Decentraland has become a lot about self-virtual-image, alter egos, and consumable assets. The Mirrormarket has it all on display and makes us wonder if we are all on sale.

Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW) Suit

The Parcel Palace is Parcel’s first building in the metaverse. For them, being the destination for virtual real estate, their palace had to be iconic. BlockyParty created the 2D vision of this project and then bioma came in to make it happen in three dimensions.

This project is created for a possible music venue, party, or event, where people want to see others as much as been seen by them. Playing with transparency and the concept of the iceberg having an over the surface more visible area, and an underwater hidden half, this building provides the same. There are two main spaces in the iceberg, and multiple hallways to guide you around; as if you were underwater, you can almost see it all, through tones of blue and icy reflections.

This project is born from the idea of providing creatives multiple spaces to display their art, or host reunions. As art studios irl, they’re usually white cubes one next to each other in never-ending hallways and complex grids. These cubes are not white, and the general grid is straight forward, but pathways and stairs will get you lost and the opportunity to find hidden treasures. With 6 per 4 per 6 cubes, there is a total of 144 studios, and they can be located with a system of x,y,z coordinates as it shows on the first floor (^,>,<,+,-,=, and A, B, C, D, E, F) and their respective level (1, 2, 3, 4). So, you could potentially tell someone, meet me at “<,C,4”.
